TUTORIAL || Lady Seymour Worsley [The Scandalous Lady W] Makeup
A surprise Monday tutorial but it isn't Fandom Friday related. I decided to do this tutorial rather spontaneously after watching The Scandalous Lady W on BBC2 last week. It starred Natalie Dormer as the scandalous lady in question, and Natalie is an absolute goddess! I've been watching her for years and years. She's amazing in everything that she does and as soon as I saw the trailer for this, I knew that I had to watch it. The 90 minute drama is about the life of Lady Seymour Worsley and I was instantly mesmerized by the costumes and the makeup used. Natalie looked, without a doubt, flawless! A true porcelain beauty. Cue me wishing that I looked like her and then deciding to attempt to recreate her look.
This look is incredibly simple. It doesn't necessarily require eyeshadow as the look I took inspiration from was very natural looking with only blusher and lipstick making any kind of impact. Nevertheless, without eyeshadow, your eyes are just drawn to Natalie's eyes. Am I right? She's just a stunner!
Anyhoo, I tried to recreate her look using a peach-toned blusher and lipstick. You don't have to use the products that I did as these just so happened to be what I had in my collection at the time. Makeup ban is still in effect. Le sigh!
Let's get to the tutorial before I start wallowing.

Did any of you watch The Scandalous Lady W? What did you think of it? I felt such sympathy for Lady W from very early on in the drama and Natalie was wonderful. Those last five minutes were so angst-ridden and Natalie really made you feel for her character. Powerful stuff and those last few minutes sent a really good message home, especially for today's society.
